Welcome
“Welcome to Christ Church CofE Primary School, a school with children at the heart of all that we do. We strive to ensure that all children have success throughout their time at the school, with a clear focus on developing well-rounded individuals who are ambitious, hard-working, caring, thoughtful and happy.
Christ Church is a Voluntary Aided Church of England school, and we are extremely proud of our Christian ethos. Our school motto, “Learning & Growing together in FAITH, HOPE & LOVE,” underscores our commitment to inclusivity, welcoming families of all faiths and backgrounds, where everyone is valued.
We endeavour to deliver quality-first teaching, with a broad and ambitious curriculum which allows pupils to develop a firm understanding of key concepts and learning, allowing everyone to know more and remember more. We are creating future generations, all of whom have the potential to make a wider, positive impact on society. Our daily policies are truly committed to supporting all children, no matter how individual their needs may be. We firmly believe that the warmth, friendliness, and sense of fun at Christ Church CofE Primary School prove what a very special place it is to be a part of.
As headteacher, I am committed to providing the best learning opportunities for all our children and nurturing the very best in all who are part of our teaching and learning journey. Together with our dedicated staff, enthusiastic pupils, supportive parents, and the wider community, we are passionately committed to promoting the success of every child.”

Message from the Chair of our Governing Body
On behalf of the Governing Body, welcome to Christ Church CoE Primary School!
We are very proud to have the opportunity to share this part of the school’s journey with the community as it grows into it’s beautiful new building with an extended designation from the infant school it was, to the primary with nursery that it has become.
The governors here are all highly experienced individuals appointed from a variety of backgrounds. They are united in their commitment to work together in fulfilling their three main responsibilities: providing strategic direction; holding the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils; and overseeing the financial performance of the school in ensuring its money is well spent. Additionally, as a Voluntary Aided Church of England school, governors have responsibility for the appointment of staff and for upholding the distinctive Christian ethos.
The Governing Body of Christ Church CoE Primary School – alongside its staff, pupils, parents and community – is passionately committed to promoting its future success. We are united in our belief that our children and young people deserve the very best in education. As governors we will strive hard in guiding the work of this provision, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to succeed, learning and growing together in faith, hope and love.
Kind regards
Niki Monks (Chair of the Governing Body)
